HELI-BRIDLE™

Every solid rescue system starts with a “bomb-proof” anchor. The Short Haul Line Anchor/Release System or Heli-Bridle™ is made to order, air frame specific, and comes as primary/secondary twin anchor/release systems or back-up anchor/release to cargo hooks. The MBS for our Heli-Bridle and 3 Ring Release is the new industry standard of 9000lbs.

LBS™ Line Ballast System       

The short-haul Line Ballast System was developed out of necessity and after many years of trial and error. The LBS is a stream-lined weight bag that is low profile, non-swinging and is secured by a rock solid, multi-point attachment system.

Configuration lessens the chance of a hang up in a snag, thick brush or rocky crag.

LBS sizes range from 12.5lbs to over 50lb. and are field adjustable, modular components that allow the mission to dictate need rather than the equipment.

SOFT STEEL™ Static Line System      

ARS SOFT STEEL™ 9/16" Short Haul Line is constructed of a polyester sleeve covering a braided 100% Dyneema core. The line provides exceptional strength, fatigue resistance, and durability. Each line is proof loaded to 5000lbs and each lot run is independently tested and certified. Soft Steel™ lines are polyurethane coated for superior wear, abrasion resistance and durability.

Standard lengths are 50’-100’-150’-200’ and 250’

Custom lengths available.  Colors: Orange, Black, Terra and TriCam™

YATES™ Short Haul Harness

This harness is a first in class, built by Yates Gear utilizing years of design experience and input from rescue professionals. The need for a truly adaptable harness has been apparent for years...with "D" ring attachments at the waist, chest and mid-back this Short Haul harness moves seamlessly from aircrew operations to short haul, SPIE and heli-rappel. Once on the ground, the "W" design leg/waist belt interface provides rescuers with freedom of movement...hiking, scrambling and climbing are effortless without ever feeling the need to loosen or drop the legs.

L.A.R.O.™ Parachute System        

(Low Altitude, Rapid Opening)

Low Altitude Rapid Opening Parachute system. A complete system that works...without having to be 500' AGL.  There's no reason to use a parachute system for short haul if it won't perform in real world operations. ARS has the solution.

The L.A.R.O. works at 200’ AGL  with a 600lb load. We’ve dropped tested our chute over and over again at these low altitudes with loadss from 100 to 600 lbs and each time the L.A.R.O. performed.

The L.A.R.O. brings a margin of safety to short haul that is unprecedented and until now has been the key missing component in what we do.
